To mark our 30th anniversary, we’re inviting parents, neighbors, community members, and friends to join us for one—or more—of our scheduled Volunteer Days of Service.
These events are a chance to give back, connect with our schools, and help create joyful, enriching experiences for Baltimore students. They are not only fun and engaging, but also a wonderful way to get to know our schools, staff, and students. We hope you will consider joining us!

December 6, 2025 | 9:30 AM–3:30 PM | Wolfe Street Academy (245 S. Wolfe St.)
Looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season? Join us in partnership with the Baltimore Family Alliance’s Adopt-a-Family program, which provides clothing, toys, and holiday cheer to families in need. We need volunteers to help organize the collected gifts from donors on December 6 so they are ready for distribution to families on December 7.
Can’t attend? Support by donating toys, books, or clothing to ensure every child has something special to open this holiday season. Also in need of holiday supplies for families, such as wrapping paper, bows, name tags, tape, and scissors.
January 16, 2026 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Hampstead Hill Academy (500 S Linwood Ave)
Support budding historians during National History Day! Students will present research projects on historical topics of their choice, and volunteers play a key role in making the event a success. Volunteers can serve as judges by asking students questions and reviewing their work, help with timekeeping and room support to keep presentations on schedule, assist with set-up and clean-up, or simply be there to cheer on students and celebrate their hard work.
April 2026 (Date TBD) | City Springs Elementary/Middle School (100 S Caroline St)
City Springs’ House Teams—Unity, Believe, Courage, and Kindness—bring 3rd–6th graders together for monthly challenges. We need judges in April to help score activities and cheer on the teams!
The school is still finalizing the exact date and activity for April, but you can express your interest now, and we’ll reach out once all the details are confirmed.
May 2, 2026 | 12:00–3:00 PM | Govans Elementary (5801 York Rd)
Celebrate the diverse cultures of our community! Host a cultural table, lead an activity, or assist with set-up, clean-up, and event support during Govans’ International Day.
